STEM SUBMISSIONS

Submit

Writers and budding scientists will submit science, technology, engineering, or math papers/research with a chance for their work to be featured on WriteCause’s website! Your work can be an extensive research project, a general paper, or other such work. The purpose of this STEM spotlight is to showcase the scientific work of young, talented writers, enabling them to promote their writing and inspiring others to write about STEM.

RULES & SUBMISSIONS

Rules

WriteCause is accepting STEM Spolight submissions on a rolling basis, so there is no deadline to submit work. However, keep in mind that if you submit in January, for example, the earliest we can publish your work is in February.

This contest is open to people living anywhere. To enter you must be 12-18 years old.

The submission can be any form of scientific writing including but not limited to research projects, proposals, or papers. There is no fee for submissions, so feel free to submit as many works as you wish!

Students may submit a paper individually, but are also encouraged to write collaboratively. The STEM Spotlight accepts writing pieces with more than one author.

When submitting please include a small “blurb” to describe your work with 1) a category of STEM , 2) the aim of your paper, and 3) the results/takeaways from your research. Make sure your paper does not include any extra sensitive information (such as your address, personal email, your school, etc). While you must provide some information in to submit, it should not be included it in your work.

The piece you submit must be your own work. We do not accept plagiarized or AI-created submissions. By submitting your work to this contest you are giving consent for it to be published on the WriteCause website, newsletters, and social media. Please note you will still own rights to the work. Please do not submit work that has already been published.
